HS 3.0 resets central heating settings at random

Dear all,

I am using my HS 3.0 for some years now with good results. I have created my own visu with full integration off all kinds of services. Also my central heating is fully controlled. Local thermostats are Gira 1052's (7 zones) and completly integrated in the visu and all functionality used, including window contacts and movement detection.

During the last 2,5 months I discovered that the settings of the comforttemperature are put on 0,0°C (reset) in the visu. This is now the third time and I have checked my set-up 100%. I first thought there was a hidden clock that resulted in a reset, but I didn't find anything in that direction. I have also discovered that this action happens at random. I have also tried to record my bus via ETS why this is happening, but without good results.

Does anybody has an idea why this is happening. This service has been working for more then 2 years without a problem and last 3 months I didn't do any program modifications.

First of all, I think English is pretty Ok, most of us speak and understand it, we're livin in an international world (within the EU, even all of us guarantee for states with "problematic finances" and kyrillic letters )

Tell us something more about your setup:
- where is the controlling done: In the TS2+ or in the HS ?
- Bus-load (if any stats available)
- other components involved

If first: which bus-connection used for the HS ? Assumed FT1.2: These piggies tend to die way too early
Second assumption, too heavy bus-load due to missing ACKs on the bus, these were at least the two things I ran into myself..

-> If thats the case, the first thing - if anyhow possible - is to take a look with a serparate interface on the bus with ETS & Busmonitor, not Groupmonitor! (don't know how these two are exactly called in ETS/EN, but the wrong one contains "group") Telegram repetitions ?

The controlling is done via the Gira 1052, so all the internal logics of the 1052 for central heating is done from there.

The data, such as actual temperature, comfort setting, KNX mode switch-over etc. are forwarded to the HS visu via the groupsaddresses.

The bus load is within reasonable values. I have created recently a, project with 160 buscouplers with a higher load without problems. In my private project here we are talking about 80 items on the bus. Amount of telegrams are not very high.

Indeed the FT1.2 has been used. I replaced this item already after one year .

What do you mean with ACK's?

I will try to check this evening the busload with the bus monitor again.Maybe I find something.
