KNX/EIB KNX products with defective Prog. button

Hi,

Just wondered if anyone in here, know how/if it is possible to repair a knx component with defective programming button? I have 1 theben dimming module and one RMG4 swithing module witch both have these defects.
Any help would be truly appreciated.

Hi Christian,

if you know the former PA, you are able to let the Programming light lit up via the ETS. So the device is in programming mode without pressing the button.

Hi Björn,

Unfortunatly I have not the former PA on the device When I do a device scan on the knx line, the defective device doesn't show up either. So it looks like the knx internals on the device is defective. Is it possible to troubleshoot and repair this kind of thing?

Do you know anything of the former KNX topology? Maybe, you have to set the device into a corresponding environment to get success with the line scan.

If a repair is possible in general - I don't know. Maybe it is defective anyway.
