Merten, where to buy on-line

Hi,

I used to buy my Merten stuff from Eibmarkt.
Since many years I was very satisfied, even in crisis situation (when DHL managed to "loose" my package).
I noticed that since some time, Merten's stuff is vanishing from the Eibmarkt catalogue, even the Schneider equivalent (prefix MTN) isn't there. I guess it has to do with "politics" since the take-over from Schneider.

I tried several on-line shops, looking for a Merten 6750, no luck.
Some shops do offer a couple of actuators but not the complete range, or do not have a good search engine (Eibmarkt is the king of the road for that purpose).

Well, I'm stuck, any hint for a good on-line shop, please ?

You can always ask at eibmarkt. They try to get something which is not in the online shop. That is how I got my Siemens AP 256 smoke/fire detector.

And I agree the search engine is very special

I've already used that procedure, but it implies that you already know what you are looking for.
I prefer to browse in a product family and selecting based on price/features.

I guess you guys don't buy Merten's stuff ? or at least not from an e-shop ?

Don't really want to turn to Schneider (I didn't appreciate the fact that they changed the manufacturer ID, just because they translated the doc, making it impossible to download the french text to an "old" Merten device).

You're looking for a very old product ... why don't You move to something new, such as the Touch Panel 7", even from Merten/Schneider?

Anyway, old is relative.
Also, speaking about a house: a new house with a new installation should run at least 20 years, without any major change. And here ? the recommendation is to buy "new" stuff after 4-5 years .
I would eventually consider buying a "newer" version of that "old" model (a bit like the ABB UK/S) but failed to find it.

why don't You move to something new

because I have already a 6750 and I want to buy a second one to extend my installation. I bought it 4-5 years ago, that isn't eternity, oder ???

?!? I don't see how a touch panel can provide me the functionality I'm looking for .

PS: my house is +/- 200 years old . Chances are, it will stay there yet for another 200 years.

PS: I'm an old time and loyal Merten customer. I will rip the 6750 out and put in an ABB UK/S 32.2.
PS: Imho, there is something wrong with KNX, longevity and manufacturer's way of doing.
