I do understand most German quite ok after learning it for four years at school (20 years ago...), but since this is a very technical issue, I'm absolutely not able to describe it in German. New house, almost done installing everything - last sted was fan coils. I have two fan coils for cooling the living room and master bedroom. I connected everything to the Gira fan coil actuator (2163 00). After connecting I tried using the buttons on the actuator to start the fan coil, and everything worked ok, the fan coil was indeed blowing
I then downloaded address, parameters and everything using ETS5.5. Now the manual controls stopped working. I just changed two parameters, the number of fan coils per channel and type of fan coils. I couldn't get it working in any way, but it can still be programmed. After I while I found out that I could check the "Info" in ETS. It there says: "Run state: halted" (German: "Ausführungszustand: Gestoppt"). And I guess this is the problem. In the manual it says you put the actuator in "safe state"-mode by disconnecting both mains and bus voltage, and then connecting one of them while pressing the programming button. This works, and now the "run state" is terminated instead. But after programming it again, I'm back to "halted". I have even tried to use the vd2 product file. I then get application version 0,1 instead of 1,1 - but other than that no difference.
I have seen others have similar problems with at least Jung jalousieaktuator - they are using the wrong product database. But there really isn't that many to choose from for 2163 00.
The only thing I can think of would be some kind of incompatibility with ETS5.5, but I highly doubt that.
If anyone would have any idea here, I would be extremely grateful! I think the actuator is DoA, but it's very weird that it was working before I programmed it...
