    Hi,
I'm referring to the fact that sunrise is determined as 07:01, so I wanted my lamps to go on 30 minutes before and go out 30 minutes after.
So the switch should have activated at 06:31 and 07:31.
The system check though shows that the switch activated at 06:33:55 and 07:33:54.
So there is an offset of about 2:55 minutes 83:55 was a typo, correct now).
I wonder where that comes from...

For the comparison, I wanted to compare text and text as I don't seem to find a module that allows me to convert the 14 bit text back to a number...
I have tried the greater than function but without any positive outcome...
Possibly it was again the person in front of the computer that not fully understood what data each module is demanding

    Regards,
    Tara

A screenshot of what you currently have may help.
Btw, response in German is fine - German typing is too hard for me if I have to use more than just a few words.
Is the 06:33:55 the value of an internal or external KO, so that it has the actual time the HS uses? Or are you monitoring it through ETS? ETS uses the time of your PC, so may be different from the internal clock of the HS. If you use EIBMON then the displayed times would be correct for your comparison. If you have your cycle time set to 2 minutes then indeed the off-set should be less than two minutes... Another possible reason: you likely use different modules to turn the lights on and off, and to display the time of the sunrise or sunset. It could well be that these different modules use a slightly different calculation method, or are triggered to recalculate at different times. Personally, I would not worry about this slight off-set, since I don't know enough about the inner workings of the HS to be able to understand the true cause of the off-set.

Comparing time-as-text to another time-as-text can be tricky - the format has to match exactly (for instance, all values as hours:minutes only). To avoid that, I use the Unix time-stamp. This screenshot shows in blue the series of modules I use to convert from a timestamp to a text display, while retaining the timestamp as a number for later comparison:
      temp.jpg
The comparison then is done using this time-as-a-number with another time-as-a-number, using the modules shown in blue below:
      temp1.jpg
Maybe this will help you in further troubleshooting your logic.
