    control unit with spacelynk

    sorry for writing in english but i cant find better forum than this one. anway, I have control unit from schneider MTN646991 which is 0-10V dimming control, and spacelynk LSS100200.
    after give the control unit adress in ets and include its dimming function into a group and import ets file to spacelynk. then connect that group adress with a dimming widget, i cant control that dimming, it cant be raised up more than 6%. i can easily control the actutor in control unit as on and off but cant at all with dimming, when i measured it with a voltmeter, it is always 0 volt. what is the problem ? BTW, no load connect it to control uni, it is learning purpose so measure it with voltmeter, also i see that dimming in control uni is 3.007 type, is it true? help me please

    The DPT 3.007 DPT_Control_Dimming is meant for relative dimming, so you can increase or decrease the lightness stepwise. The number of steps (1 .. 7) is included in the telegram as well as the direction increase or decrease.

    The dimming actor MTN646991 is able to accept relative as well as absolute dimming values so you can
    1. send several relative dimming values using DPT 3.007
    2. or change the LSS100200 to send absolute DPT 5.001 [0..100] % values
    Another place to look at: There are different communication objects to use relative or absolute dimming values with the MTN646991 !

      with changing it to 5.001, i can raise up the widget to any number I want, but still measuring the control unit's dimming pins, it is still 0 V. maybe I understand the dimming 0-10volt wrong? should not it always have a constant voltage when I do not change the widget from spacelynk?

        The first version was called 1-10V. The 'dimming actor' was a potentiometer to be connected to the power supply of the lightning. The active part of the 0-10volt connection is located within the power supply of the lightning and the MTN646991 is an electronic realization or the potentiometer. I do not know any picture to illustrate this. So I hope you can imagine why a voltmeter will alway measure 0 V between both pins of the electronic potentiometer.
        Climbing the next step you will need the device to be connected to the 0-10volt interfact of the MTN646991.
