Weather station placement

Hi I'm planning weather station: either MDT SCN-WS3HW.01 + rain sensor or THEBEN 1409205 Meteodata 140 basic (which one is better? I plan to use Gira 5040 komfort combi-actuators).

This is the plan of my house - top of the images is north facing. Whats the best place to put the weather station?

I was planning to put the station over balcony on the left side of the picture - I've marked the spots - I'm hoping that we would measure west and north wind by picking one of these locations.

None? Why dont you put a pole roof or the chimney to cover all wind directions adequatly? What exactly do you want to achieve with that station?

Shade and wind protection - I have 13 venetian blinds to operate.
