Elsner Corlo firmware update: how?

Hello all,
i bought a Corlo WL.
How can i update the firmware?
Other than that, the WiFi disconnects (maybe as soon as Corlo goes in standby) and the reconnection process takes so long, that having wifi becomes unuseful (i use the display to view some ip cameras as soon as someone arrives at my main door ).
I tried with both DHCP and fixed IP and the reconnection takes about 2-3 minutes!

I think the Corlo as a SD-card slot. Maybe it is possible to use it for the purpose of updating the firmware.

We are distributor for Elsner in France...
Can you please check the FW version of the unit?
It is shown when the system starts up.
(There is a display and a KNX fw version)
As already mentioned by RKo1979 update can be done through SD Card. Normally you have to return the unit to Elsner for updating. Send me a PM with the version info, perhaps I can help you.

My issue is that as soon as i click a button linked to a web page, the Corlo WiFi disconnects (the wifi connection goes down) and then reconnects some time later.
My power supply is a 1.2 Amps 24v, so there is enough horsepower.

Massimo, your version is quite recent. I've got an answer from Elsner that possibly your WiFi router switches from 2,4 to 5 GHz. Can you try to disable the 5GHz or make sure that the SSID are different, so that you only connect to 2,4 GHz?
Further questions:
How will get the unit the connection back to WiFi once it is disconnected?
Is the Corlo App working?

I've two different SIDs, one for each wifi band and the Corlo goes to 2.4GHz.
Once disconnected, the Corlo reconnects itself after a while. Sometime after seconds, sometime after minutes.
Once connected, the APP works without issues.
The same issue appears both with Corlo set in DHCP and with fixed IP.
I've 4 cameras setup in the Corlo, that serves to monitor for intruder at nighttime. The cameras output a JPG 320x180px still image.
Sometime it disconnects by viewing one cam, sometime after viewing 3 or 4 cams.

I tried to leave the corlo quietly alone and to repeatedly ping it from another computer. In this case i never seen a disconnection. As soon as i click a button to view a camera, after the image has been rendered on the display, it disconnects.

Have you a similar setup like me (with a camera) and your corlo stays connected?
In this case, i'll focus on debugging my own installation with Wireshark, to find why it does this.

POST SCRIPTUM: i noticed this strange thing: when the room is well lit, there is no connection issue.
As soon as it comes the night, the problem begins.
The power supply is a 2.5 Amp 24V and the power drain, in total, is about 500-600 mA. So it should be no problem with power.

Maybe can it be some sort of spurious electromagnetic field caused by the dimmed display backlight at night, interfering with the wifi module?
This night i will leave the backlight fixed at 100% (for my wife's happyness) and i will check the matter.

no, dimming is not the issue.
I haven’t inserted the SD card. Is maybe this the issue?

i confirm you, no more disconnections after inserting an SD Card.
They (Elsner) should either advise to ever insert an SD Card, even if you've no pictures to show, or fix the issue.
For me the issue is closed.
