I have looked through manuals and ETS programs of most KNX DALI gateways on the market, and generally they provide quite similar features and it is not easy to choose between them.
My requirements:
* work reliably with Osram, Sunricher and TCI CC and CV LED drivers, as those are available in the luminaries we have chosen;
* support for DT8 TW and RGBW - primarily for future expansion;
* second DALI line is not required currently, if gateway supports individual ECG control on top of 16 groups. If second line is needed in the future, I would prefer to add another device instead of using with two lines.
My candidates:
* Siemens 141/03 - this is the one I am leaning towards. There does not seem to be many forum posts about ECG compatibility problems. ETS configuration seems to have all the features I need (night mode, dimming timing, scenes etc) and few features (idle power off, effects) that I might try once basic setup is complete. Firmware 11 adds DT8 support;
* MDT 64 - this has slightly more features (turn on and off delays), but is more expensive and there have been multiple posts here discussing compatibility issues. Web interface is interesting, but not really necessary;
* Jung/Gira/Hager - all of these seem to be same and the latest updated model adds DT8 support. These also seem to have had some reports about compatibility problems in the forum here.
