Is ETS6 Lite enough for me when project statistics says 14 devices?

I opened the knxproj file supplied by our knx delivery partner from when we built our house. I used the ETS6 Home in Demo mode. When I check the project statistics it says 14 devices, 3 lines and 0 rooms.

According to my count we have at least 24 groups of lights, wall sockets etc, that we can address from light switches. Is is possible that I have gotten the wrong file? Can I somehow view the project file contents without buying a dongle?
You do not have permission to view this gallery.

No. You do need a Dongle to access the file. I would sugest, make the E-Campus introduction and take the test and get a ETS home for a reduced price, even if the ETS light should do it with 14 devices. But this leaves ample reserves for your expaning your ETS project.

14 devices can already be true. 1 actuator can operate several devices (up to approx. 24). But it is not programmed properly if 3 lines are displayed.

I thing the topology report will always report a backbone and a main-line as soon as there is any "normal line", even if there are not any modules in those lines. So 3 could be correct without any missing elements.

Thanks for the tip on the eCampus. Not only did it give me a bit better view of how our system is built, but also the vouchers. I think the different license tiers are not perfectly aligned since I now have to choose between getting the Lite version with 70% discount (=60€+vat) or the Home version with 50% discount (=175€+vat) which doesn't make the Home version so compelling.

The only place where we would need to expand the knx system at the moment is for some non-knx connected wall sockets to react when we push a button. This I've solved so far by buying the Siemens N148/22 ip gateway, then I coded a service that listens to all messages on the knx bus and takes action on specific messages. Then I bought some connected wall sockets from Telldus and have the knx listening service call the Telldus cloud api to turn on/off these sockets. I'm a coder and totally intimidated by all electrical installations, as you might see from this solution.

I now see there is some KNX RF -stuff, could you advice me on how I could have accomplished the same there?

I'm also thinking of getting the 1Home KNX bridge to replace the knx listening service and allow for all kinds of automations in out iphones, like geofencing so the lights turn on when we come home after dark.

You can start with the light and upgrade later into the home, if needed.
KNX RF, you need an RF coupler, an most likely have to rename all your devices into a Main line (from 1.1.x to 1.0.x) or you wait, until an RF couple (RF extender - whatever it is called exactly, I don't know) and then you don't have to change the present system.

But be careful and look for RF elements, which work in system mode and not in the easy mode.
