KNX/EIB Domovea Variable setup

Hello ,
i have the 450 version and i am tryingto setup and link a variable in Domovea configurator.Can someone please help? It seems imposible to do it.It only accepts constant values an NOT variables linked with a device. My version is 3.7.0.1
is this a software problem?
