Help with MDT IP Router configuration

Hi All,

I'm new to KNX and looking for support with configuring the MDT SCN-IP100.03. The ETS 6 software doesn't automatically detect the device when I connect it to my router. I have also tried to make a point to point connection directly from my laptop but to no avail.

My understanding is that when you add the device to the project, ETS automatically knows the type of connection to listen for.

No it doesn’t appear on the connection menu.

Ideas:

• Any firewalll or network equipment blocking IP multicast?
• IP Router is powered?
• What do the status LEDs show?
• Tries a factory reset?
• Find out the IP address of the IP router and try to ping it, or try to access the device's web page
