English version?

I have not tried to install it yet, but is there a English version available or only in German?

Anyone know if the "language" is directly in the code or if it is in a "language file" ?

I have askes some time back if we can support with translation to certain languages, but it is not that flexible as I understood.

That's the "problem" indeed - it's directly implemented in the code. But I'm working on that (in future), including those "logic-units" (LBS). Please don't expect the final version with language-files too soon - the changes will take a couple of months so far...

But I won't do the translation itself (my english-skills are too bad for that, as you can imagine) - Stoxn could do this much better (thanks by the way)

I've installed the server and have it up and running. I started changing some of the German text in the .php files and I can see the effect immediately in the running server.
The problem with this approach is that I have to change it every time the server does an update on my "changed" files...

WOW!!! I have not looked to deep into all that it can do, but from what I can see EDOMI has to be one of the greatest things created for KNX ever. I'm really impressed, and I do not know why I have not seen this before.

Is there a way I can contribute to this fantastic project?

EDOMI provides an open and very flexible interface to connect own developed "logic-units" (LBS). With a bit of experience in php programming, you can easily contribute.
You should take a look at some LBS in the EDOMI download portal. I tried to document almost all LBS which I developed in english, because I fully agree to your view, that EDOMI is really the best KNX logic and visualization engine so far and I thought, that the user group will not stop at the german borders.

But don't expect to much source code documentation but the functionality is usually documented in more detail. Maybe that helps ...

I am also very interested in the possibility for a language file, as you all said, this project is that good that it goes beyond borders, maybe i can help with the translations for the dutch language?

Do you think we'll ever see a "international" version of Edomi? Is the code somhow prepared to work with language packs or will the entire code need to be rewritten?
