sendmail with multiple lines

Hi,

I am trying to send a textual mail with multiple lines from my EibPC using sendmail().

I've been looking around in the manual and tried to experiment with CR, but failed to make it work.

Could someone provide a short example?

We have this as an feature on the list for Q4/2010.

A workaround would be
- if you want to read mails with the iPhone you can insert spaces and see, at which position the linebreak is done

I wanted to use this to send an e-mail towards an SMS gateway.
This gateway expects a certain format - so you workaround will not be applicable here.

I am surprised to read that the sendmail() function is only able to send a one-liner :-(.

Will look for another solution and use my Wiregate for this function for now.
