[-] How to drive more current from a binary input ?

Hello,

I seem to remember a post about how to drive more current from a binary input, but can't find it back (lack of right keyword)

I'm referring to those small binary input UP, which also have a wire to drive a LED. This drive is limitted to a few mA (5-10).
The post I'm referring to, described a way, with extra components to drive more current.

It works from 5mA on and has a Relais output.

I run my electric door opener by that and it is working very good for 3 years now.
You just have to solder 6 components together, but it is very simple and small.

I'm still a bit confused. I intend to use a Hager TX308, the specs say

LED Ausgänge Eigenschaften
I = 850 μA U = 1.8V DC

So, this thing is only capable of driving 850µA ? usually, a LED is around 5-10mA.
Should I use a very special LED ? or maybe I should buy another BE ?

The name was #7057 01 in the ETS3 but the order Nr. is Gira 111900

sorry for that.

You can only use input 1 and 2 as outputs for LEDs.

I see that the specs are almost the same as the TX308. I guess the output current is internally limited to max. 0.8 mA.
I tried a standard LED, it works .... but it is hardly visible. Maybe I've to slect one of those modern bright LED.
