Sorry for the reply in English.
Pairot is a bridge between HomeKit and KNX. In HomeKit you can use "automation" (when you have a iPad, Apple TV or HomePod as home hub) to do all your logic control. Obviously the possibilities are limited to what's available in HomeKit.
The geofencing and scenes and so on are standard to HomeKit.
Also you can use the Home app in iOS devices to manually control all devices in the HomeKit installation.
The enduser will not see the difference between a HUE lamp or a KNX lamp in this app.

OK, Homekit kenne ich jetzt nicht, aber ich vermute eine komplexe Hauslogik kann man damit nicht umsetzen. Aber da gibt es bestimmt jemanden der sicher besser mit den Homekit-Logiken auskennt.

Hm, die „Logik“ ist ja in Homekit als Automatisierungsregeln hinterlegt. Und die Siri-Sprachbefehle werden ja auch nur in Homekit-Befehle übersetzt, die sofort ausgeführt werden.
Wenn diese sog. HomeServer von Gira u.a. nur zur Ausführung von Automatisierungsregeln dienen, würde Homekit (über den Umweg der Pairot-Bridge) das gleiche machen.

Nein, der Pairot enthält keine Logik, sondern setzt einfach die HomeKit/Alexa/Google Assitant Befehle auf die entsprechenden KNX Kommandos um. Es ist nur eine Möglichkeit um die Sprachsteuerung zu realisieren.

Ich nutze Homekit bislang zur Automation in einer Wohnung mit ein paar Hue-Lampen und Funk-Thermostaten. Nun steht die Sanierung eines EFH an, und ich lese mich gerade in KNX ein.
Meine Frage: Macht diese Pairot-Bridge AppleTV/Homekit also zu einem KNX-Homeserver, der im günstigsten Fall eine Gira X1 überflüssig macht und zusätzlich die Sprachsteuerung und Geofencing bringt?

Sadly no. The Dali gateway could be knx-Dali however, this would be supported in pairot.

I've been using the Pairot for about two weeks now and I'm very happy with it. We use an Apple Homepod and Siri to control mostly lights and window shades and it feels like living in a science-fiction movie :-)

The Pairot support the Smart Home Skill. KNX is not used so much for Audio/Video, so the Pairot has no support for the Playback interface.
Also when audio/video is integrated in KNX this would be (in most cases) bridging to another bridge, which is not optimal. It would be better if the audio/video interface themselves would support Alexa.
