Best method to have an up-to-date Visu ?

Hi,

After a HS reboot (which I do very often ) the staus in the Visu is not correct.
What would be the best method to have an up-to-date Visu ?

I see several methods (maybe there are more, or more appropriate)

1) object send status every xxx seconds. Looks good, but
- not all applications allow this
- will generate extra traffic
2) send-by-change
- some status don't change very often (some doors, temperature etc). So the wait time to get an update can be very long.
3) manual update
- most objects in the Visu are defined to update their status when they are selected.
Thats the way I use now, but it's not ideal to clic on every status object, to get its last status.
4) polling every so & so
I thought letting the HS explicitely re-reading every status object. Does it make sense ?

Any practical recommendation ?

My visu is always correct after reboot. Anything else is inacceptable.

I mark all important KOs as "scan at start". That's all.

I mean, does it slow down the re-boot process, if there are many KO to be scanned at start ?

The scan begins when the HS is "ready-to-use", but the "L"-(lesen)flags have to be set.

Otherwise you can make a Sequenze who reads all Objekts for example 1min after HS-Reboot.

This of course has an impact on HS. But is is necessary and the only way to show correct states after reboot.

It does slow down the boot process a little bit.

It is absolutely necessary that these addresses CAN be read out at all (L-Flag set via ETS). If not, the HS tries several times - this will increase boot time tremendously. So check your Debug-Page - section "Scan-Fehler". There should be NO entry.
