HS/FS HS Expert 2.6->2.7->2.8 migration ERROR

Hello,
I've been using HSE 2.6 for long time now and tried to migrate to 2.7 and then to 2.8.
I archived project in 2.6 and imported it in 2.7.
When trying to transfer it to HomeServer3 I get QC config error:
an error occured while reading in the project.xml
log file looks like this:
Fehler beim Einlesen der project.xml [C:\moje dokumenty\dom\gira\HS+FS Experte 2.7\Projects\migracja_hs26-MASTER\migracja_hs26-MASTER\quadconfig\project.xml]: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at Quadconverter.CReader.readProject(String _filename)
anyone can assist?

Hello,
I migrated last week directly from 2.6 to 2.8 and I had a similar error. Try to change something in the quadclient, perhaps that alone could fix it.
