I received the .bak file from Warichet and was able to import it, except an activated design which was set to active but neither set to be used with html, client nor wap.

I did not get the above mentioned error message if I choose not to delete the missing design definition and not to delete all symbols.

I don't fully undestand what you mean, but I think I didn't do anything special to cause the incident. All I can say is: it happened after an unexpected reboot (I thought it was a power failure reboot; no; it happened several times, the PC has a thermal problem. I kicked it out)

But then, the hint to load the project with an editor and check it, is this still valid in 2.2 ?
Thank you for your time and effort. In the mean time, I've rebuild the project from a back-up and re-entering the missing data.

As I could see you have used two designs: GIRA1024 and GIRA1024V. The second one is marked as activ, but not as available for HTML,WAP or Client.
As far as I could see, the complete menu and the Visu for GIRA1024 is still available and correct.

If I have some more time to play, I will try to make the project working completely; just to find a workaround .

Since you have a working copy again, I think it´s no longer very urgent .

Keep on making backups!
