Vitocal 300 & integration with EIB

hi all

Sorry for not writing in German - I'm fine with reading...
(hope thats no problem)

I have a heating installation with Viessmann Vitocal 300, Vitodens 200 and
Vitosolic 200 feeding floorheating and hotwater.

Do anyone on the forum have any experience hooking this up
on EIB ?

Hi, I use a vitogate 200 to transfer data between LON and EIB. On the LON side there is a vitotronic 200, vitotronic 050 and a vitosol.

hi,

It seems like
- Vitocal 300 (heatpump)
- Vitodens 200 (gass heater)
- Vitosolic 100 (controller unit for solar heating)

are not (!?) supported by Viessmann

To get information out of these systems I have to put sensors in
myself (i.e. temperatur sensor in/on the pipes, flow etc)

i try to the general amusement in this forum to hand in my first answer in my bad English here.

I have visualized my Vitocal 330 g completely. Since the Vitogate does not work at this heat pump has.

I everything connected with common EIB components.

I have approached:

• 230 V binary inputs (pumps, mixers, contactors ...)
• Universal interfaces for potential-free contacts and Reeds (mixing construction, disturbance contact ...)
• Temperature entrances 4-fold with feelers at the pipes
• Switching actors (circulation pump.)

This is the result on a Gira Homeserver (see pictures.)

The detail descr of the equipment is:

- Vitocal 300 BW220 CD60 21,6 kW (heatpump)
- Vitocell-B 300 EVB 300 L
- Vitodens 200 W 26kW with Vitotronic 200(gas heater)
- Vitosolic 100 (controller unit for solar heating)
- Vitotrans 100 PWT 30 bar (heat exchange btw solar & accu tanks)
- 2 x Vitocell 050 SVP 1000L (accu tanks)
- 15 m2 Viessmann vacuum solar pipes (SP3)

A couple of questions:
1) measuring the temp inside the accu tank is done at specific
measuring points in the tank. The local Viessmann representative
in Norway told me that it is not possible to use two temp probes in the
special probe slots in the tank (Vitocell 050). What type of temp
probes do you use in the accutank ?
2) Did you use temp probes externally mounted on the pipes or are the
temp probes inside the pipe ?
3) Is it possible to adjust temps etc from HS or is it just for monitoring ?
4) Did you consider to also measure the water flow in parts of the
system ?
5) Do you have any experience with Vitodens 200 (with Vitotronic 200) ?

how to detect compressor-activity

I also have this heatpump from viessmann. I would like to visualize the activity of the compressor. How did you do that?

Ich habe auch so eine Viessmann-Wärmepumpe im Keller stehen. Leider gibt es hiefür keine EIB-Anbindung. Wie kann man denn die Aktivität des Verdichters am besten mit einem Sensor aufnehmen?

Am einfachsten mit einem 230V-Binäreingang, den man parallel zum Kompressor anklemmt. Genauso kann man auch Pumpen und Ventile überwachen.
