- Wie ist es denn ohne Thinka realisierbar? Nicht vergessen - nicht jeder hat Zeit um sich einen Raspberry selbst zu basteln etc...

Naja das was du aufgeführt hast ist für mich keine Argumentation für Thinka. Das kann man auch ohne Thinka. --> Kein Alleinstellungsmerkmal. Für Thinka spricht meines Erachtens eher das Thema OOTB bzw. Plug and Play.

Wenn ich ein wenig Zeit investieren will, geht es auch ohne!

Hallo zusammen,
mein Thinka KNX mit Siri hat seit gestern die Beta 2.0.0-xxx und kann nun auch Amazon Alexa ausführen. Sehr geil
Man Muss quasi nichts machen ausser einen Reboot, Amazon anmelden und dann hat man schon alles über das Skill auf dem Echo.

Take a Look at Support in the webinterface. Change Thinka Chanel into Beta. Then it should be possible to get it with Alexa

Hmmm, seems to be something wrong on my Thinka. The Update Site is not available because "the certificate" is not valid. I have already mailed to Thinka for support.

Did you have the correct serial ? Not the Big Number on Thinka. Its the small number on the left !

Yes, I have the correct S/N. When I go to https://software.thinka.eu/ and use my S/N I'm redirected to the local Thinka Setup Client (http://192.168.1.49/configuration).

It is possible to change the channel manually from Stable to Beta

The problem was solved by Thinka Support. The system time and date did not match the real time and date and that resulted in problems with the security certificate of the Update Site. I gave Thinka Support direct access to my Thinka and they did a remote update which fixed my problems. Great support by Thinka!

Next step... buy an Amazon Echo dot so I can check/use the new features from the Beta software.

Gestern ist Werbung ins Haus geflattert, das Thinka nun Homekit zertifiziert ist.

Wie gut lief das Gerät bissher mit Alexa? Hat jemand schon etwas Erfahrung sammeln können?

Gibt es ausser Pairot und nun Thinka noch andere Homekit Lösungen die man „verkaufen“ kann?

Moin, ich habe Thinka nur kurz mit Alexa getestet - grundsätzlich hat es nach der einfachen Einrichtung direkt funktioniert. Im Verlauf über einige Monate ging es dann aber plötzlich nicht mehr, dann ging es mal wieder und mal wieder nicht - hatte immer den Verdacht, dass in einem der Geräte die automatischen Updates dafür verantwortlich sind. Da der Nutzen sehr gering war (und eben auch blöd, wenn es nicht immer klappt) habe ich es nicht weiter verfolgt und habe Alexa wieder vor die Tür gesetzt. Homekit finde ich als Watch Nutzer praktischer und zuverlässiger.
