This is my first topic on this forum and i am from Holland so please forgive me if this question has already been asked on this forum. I am controlling my Aquarium (don't laugh) with DALI. I have 6x 80w T5 lamps on my tank. Now, my aquarium is controlled by a computer. Whenever there is something wrong with my tank, i would like to show this with leds. Preferably RGB leds and preferably controlled by DALI since i allready have this.
To be honest, i am stupid with technical stuff, this means i don't know how to convert watts to amperage etc. so i don't know what to take;
I am sure i need a DALI->PWM controller, and i thought of the K6-C003 RGB 8-24V, DALI) Controller. My tank is 1 meter 80cm wide, and 70cm in depth. If i want to make a RGB strip around my tank, this means i need to 'control' 3.2 meters with leds.
I have seen a LED strip which is 26cm wide, uses 3W (per strip)
12V +/- 0,5V (1 x 240mA (+)) (3 x 80mA (3 x -)).
I would need 12 strips. But i don't know if:
a) i can even control this using the K6-C003 controller
b) if it supplies enough power
c) if i need a driver or amplifier
I've seen this in another topic, but i don't know if i need it...
1 x K6-550-075-00 (Schutzart IP66, 12V=, 100W)
1 x K6-C004 (RGB-Verstärker 12/24V) 6A
