Hello,
I have a Gira IP-Router, which I have some problems with. It is HW 04, and the current firmware is 2.0.134.
The first problem is that I can't program the router through ETS using a USB interface, the physical adress gets programmed, but not the rest, I get an error message saying "Failed to write to one memory block"
I have tested to do a factory reset of the router, by holding down the programming button when powering up the router, this does not help.
So I went to Gira.de and downloaded the latest firmware, 3.1 and tried to update with GPA, but instantly I get an error, but when I open the details about the message, all I get is "https://IP-adress: portnumber/XMLRPC" no further explanation what went wrong. So I downloaded the "workaround" since there seem to be a communication problem with windows, but this did not help, still the same with both ETS programming and also the GPA firmware update.
I'm using a normal RJ45 patch cable, not cross-over when trying to update the firmware, the router is connected straight to the PC, no switch or anything else.
I'm out of clues, have anyone experienced the same issue?
