KNX/EIB ETS - Beginner question : Central function All-OFF not resetting status of button

    Hello,
I'm sorry I don't speak German... And this forum is the best I could find in ETS / KNX... So this post will be in English if it's OK. Thank you to be indulgent with me :-).

    Context :
    - There is a button 'A' which turns ON/OFF 3 lights in a corridor at the first floor.
    - There is a button 'B' which turns OFF all lights of the floor (used when I go down for example).

    Scenario giving the issue :
    - I leave the lights ON in the corridor (so last time I pressed the corridor button 'A', it sent an ON telegram... Next one will be an OFF)
    - I go out of the house, turning all lights OFF with the central function of button 'B'.
    - When I come back and want to turn on the corridor again with button 'A', I have to press it 2 times (as if it was once for the OFF telegram -- but lights are already off --, and a second time to send the ON telegram).

    Question :
    - How can I program my buttons / adresses groups in order to have to press the button 'A' just once ?

Hardware used (all is ABB Busch-Jägger):
    - ACTUATOR : 6197/14-500 - Universal dimming actuator 6 x 315 W/VA up to 1 x 1890 W/VA* (http://www.knx-gebaeudesysteme.de/st...9AAC159431.htm)
This actuator is made of 6 channels each one of them being attributed to one light that I can turn On/Off or Dim.
    - CONTROLER : 6342-101-500 priOn - Control element, 3gang (http://www.knx-gebaeudesysteme.de/st...9AAC168816.htm)

    ETS Programming :
    • Group addresses
    - Switch ON / OFF in group address : 1/2/0
    - Switch FeedBack in group address : 1/2/1
    - Dimming in group address : 1/2/4
    - Switch ON / OFF (among all other lights of the floor) in group address : 1/2/250
    • Button 'A' assignations
    - Switch ON/OFF (with sending value programmed to alternate between ON and OFF)
    - Dimming
    - Status
    • Button 'B' assignations
    - Switch ON/OFF (with sending value fixed to always send OFF)
    • Actuator and flags
    - One of the 3 lights that are in the corridor is on channel 4 of the actuator.
    - This channel is, as said earlier linked to 2 group addresses :
    - 1/2/0 : Switching ON/OFF with button 'A' --> The 'Sending' flag is at TRUE
    - 1/2/250 : Switching OFF with button 'B' --> The 'Sending' flag is at FALSE
    - The group address settings are :
    - Pass through Line Couple : TRUE for both
    - As I understood what is said as "central", is only there to facilitate the Copy function INSIDE the ETS program and has no influence on the elements and the bus itself.

    Help would be GREATLY appreciated...

    With my best regards,

    Daric

    Hi Daric

make sure your rocker A listens to the feedback of the actuator. If you drag the group object to the group address 1/2/1 it adds the address to the group object. Thus it'll get the correct status even if you use the central off button.

Most of us have stumbled over this, but you'll get used to it after a while!

    Cheers!

          Hi,
I have a similar problem with central off all lights on the floor.
In my case - actuator Hager TXA213 and controller Berker 75644001 (digital inputs set as toggle). For example: at one input toggle switch which on/off one light on actuator and second input will send off telegram on different variable mapped at same actuator output.
Input 1: setting reverse value of variable on rising edge (toggle)
Input 2: send off telegram on rising edge
Both variables mapped on output 1 the actuator.
In this case I have the same problem as first comment.
Does exits any solution when controller Berker nas not got feedback input?
Thanks for advise and sorry for my bad English.

Put the feedback GA as the second GA on the Berker sending KO
