arnix: Habe es nicht probiert, aber es gibt ja auch die Uhrzeit und Datum, die von der WP abgefragt wird. Du könntest m.E. eine Logik schreiben, die regelmäßig die Zeitdifferenz bestimmt und bei Überschreitung einer Zeitspanne ein Item auf "invalid", None oder -1 oder ähnliches setzt.

Sind es nur Einzelwerte, die "hängen" bleiben, oder doch alle zusammen?
Es kommt darauf an, was man mit den Werten machen will. Items in smarthome.py stellen verschiedene Zusatzinformationen zur Verfügung (age, last_change, last_update). Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob man sie in der Smartvisu abrufen/darstellen kann. smarthomy.py filtert die item-Werte, so dass nur Änderungen ein Update triggern (es sei denn enforce_updates ist aktiviert). Daher ist es nicht einfach eine allgemeine Behandlung dafür zu machen, wann ein Item "veraltet" ist und wann nicht.
Das thz-Plugin gibt auch Statuszähler aus (txCount, rxCount, rxTimeoutCount - siehe readme). Daraus kann man ableiten, ob die Verbindung gestört ist. Falls die Verbindung gestört ist, sollte man das Kabel bzw. Stecker kontrolieren. Du könntest den Anstieg von Timeouts pro Tag in einem Diagramm plotten, um zu sehen, womit die Rx-Timeouts korrelieren (z.B. Kompressor-Laufzeit). Eventuell könnte es Probleme mit einem USB-Adapter geben.

nein, es sind keine einzelnen Werte und es ist wohl nicht das Kabel. Denn wenn ich das Kabel ganz entferne, werden dennoch die zuletzt angegebenen Werte gezeigt, auch bei Updates des Plugins. Es ist also diese Problematik, dass ich nie weiß, ob es jetzt aktuelle Werte oder ein alter Wert ist.
Aber der Tipp von zittho mit der Uhrzeit der LWZ hilft schon sehr weiter. Ich habe die Uhrzeit jetzt auch in der Visu dargestellt und wenn diese aktuell ist, dann ist ja alles korrekt.
Ich werde das beobachten und wenn es noch Probleme gibt, mich nochmal dazu melden.

Es wäre auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert, die o.g. Zähler zu überwachen. Darüber hinaus könntest du im ssh-Terminal mit "dmesg" nachschauen, ob der USB-Adapter immer wieder neudetektiert wird, falls du einen USB-Adapter benutzst.
EDIT: Verstehe ich dich richtig - du möchtest, dass alle Items bei Verbindungsverlust auf 0 zurückgesetzt werden?

ich habe dmesg eingegeben, der Inhalt der Ausgabe übersteigt aber meine Kenntnisse. Der USB wird ein paar mal erwähnt. Kannst Du da ein falsches Verhalten ersehen? Ich bin etwas verwirrt über die "Server not responding"-Meldungen am Schluss. Die NFS-Verbindung funktioniert nämlich problemlos. Aber das ist ja hier auch nicht das Thema.

USB-Medungen sieht man nur am Anfang. D.h. es gibt keine "spontanen" Abmeldungen/Neuanmeldungen.
Zu den NFS-Meldungen kann ich nicht viel sagen. Ein Timeout scheint alle ca. 5 Minuten zuzuschlagen.
Könntest du bitte das Fehlverhalten etwas detaillierter beschreiben.
- Wie oft bleiben die Werte stehen? Für wie lange?
- Muss man sh.py/USB-Adapter/RasPi neustarten oder erholt es sich von alleine?
- Wie verändern sich die thz-Plugin-Statuszähler mit der Zeit?

1) Das kann ich dir ehrlich gesagt nicht so genau sagen. Mir ist es nur dann und wann mal aufgefallen.
2) Ich hatte das Problem bisher gelöst, indem ich entweder sh.py neu starte oder meine Wärmepumpe resette.
3) die thz-Plugin-Statuszähler? Meinst Du die verschiedenen Items? Die bleiben auf dem letzten Wert.
Aber lass mal gut sein. Das Problem tritt zu selten auf und es ist auch nicht wirklich wichtig. Wenn es eine schnelle Lösung geben würde, wäre das okay gewesen aber viel Arbeit müssen wir (und insbesondere Du) nicht investieren.

Es sieht definitiv nach Verbindungsproblemen aus.
Ich verstehe deine Aussage so, dass nach mehreren Neustarts von RasPi und der WP keine Kommunikation mehr aufgebaut werden kann.
Ich nehme an, dass deine Verbindung wie folgt aussieht:
RasPi - USB-Adapter - Kabel (SUB-D / MNL3) - WP-Wartungsport ( - WP-Platine)
Nun muss man versuchen, alle zugänglichen Bestandteile als Fehlerquelle systematisch auszuschließen.
Hast du ein altes RasPi-Image, das vor smarthomeNG einwandfrei mit der WP kommunizierte? Falls ja, dann damit testen.
Als erstes würde ich versuchen, das Kabel samt Steckern zu überprüfen (durchklingeln und auf Kurzschluss testen). Ist der Stecker am WP-Ende oxidiert oder hat einen schlechten Kontakt? Tut sich irgendwas, wenn man leicht daran gewackeckelt hat? Sind die Adern gekrimpt oder gelötet?
Dann den USB-Adapter tauschen. Wenn du noch einen Rechner hast, der über eine RS232-Schnittstelle verfügt, könntest du ihn als Gegenstelle benutzen und mit einem Terminal-Programm (z.B. Teraterm) die vom Plugin gesendeten Binärdaten aufzeichnen (Schnittstelleneinstellungen 9600 8N1). Oder man könnte auch Binärdaten injizieren, um zu sehen, dass sie beim Plugin ankommen. Damit wäre sichergestellt, dass die Kette bis dahin funktioniert.
Die unschönste Ursache wäre, wenn der Wartungsport den Geist aufgegeben hat (ich glaube, es gab in irgendeinem Forum ähnliche Meldungen). In einem solchen Fall hätte man noch die Möglichkeiten: die Platine tauschen lassen, auf den internen USB-Port umsteigen (falls bei deinem Modell vorhanden) oder auf den CAN-Bus umsteigen.

Bisher bringe ich die Passivkühlung mit thz.p75passiveCooling = 1 auf Bereitschaft für Abluftkühlung. Wenn dann die Raumsolltemperatur um 3 Kelvin überschritten und später um 3 Kelvin unterschritten wird, wird diese aktiv und funktioniert im Grunde ganz gut.
Bei deiner Antwort ist mir nicht klar, was mit "Remote" gemeint ist.
