There is a US-Sensor available from "Pepperl+Fuchs". It is listed in the CONRAD catalog in the range 30-500 mm for 224,00€ (Analog-Output) 15 61 54-18 (or 15 61 55-18 in 0-10V)
or 15 61 62-18 60-2000 mm 174,00€
We used to use the Siemens, so i have no expierience with the Pepperl + Fuchs units.

Thank you for the pointers.
I managed to find your references at conrad.de (nothing at conrad.fr).
I noticed price differences relative to your indication, i.e.
276 instead of 224€
214 instead of 174€
Are you using an old catalogue or did I miss something ?

I dindn't see a word about the beam angle, or width of the beam at a distance of 2m ?? (don't want to be catched twice for the same thing)
Here are the full specs, anyone having a sharper eye than mine ?
Recalling my basic math skills, ouch, so long ago ..... tan 20° (10° each side of the center line) would yield a total width of 72cm @2m, is that correct ?
So I need a beam angle much narrow than 20°.
I have found detailed specs as PDF on their site - however deep-linking did not work for me with their site, so you have to search on your own (keyword search yielded the perfect result for me).
If says a "breite Ultraschallkeule" that is a wide angle beam. May be a problem in your installation.
An other way of solving your problem would be using an old fashion swimmer type of level gauge which hangs on a thin wire(rope) and goes via a spindle onto a pointer. If you fix a potentiometer to this spindel you get a changing resistant, which you can give onto a 0-10V input and calculate the hight from there. It is a bit more work but quite cheap.
I guess I would have read totally different comments if the test had been successfull .
Also, the sensor is not appropriate for a "narrow" tank (70cm), but I'm pretty sure it works file for a "fat" tank,
Maybe also I'd guess if you don't need "close up" the single-transducer Model like SRF02 work like a charm here (ok, the salty air might really kill it somewhen soon, but I'd rather have 10 spare-units of these then one from Beeperle&Siemens)
?!? it's broken ?!?
Somehow, yes, but I also have to admit that I was too lazy to send it in during the last 6 months. It just reports (quite linear) 0,5m too much, I did a substraction in HS, done Ok, thats no solution
The doc says "Öl" I guess it means "diesel" "fuel" ?
The interface is OK for KNX.
The nice thing, this Koaxialrohre will fit in any tank (no problem for narrow tank )
I see the device has a display, typical for industrial devices, so I guess it is an expensive stuff ?
Any means to get an idea of the price ? In my case, with Koaxialrohre, 1,6m
