Hi,
I don’t collect any telemetry, so I cannot provide precise usage statistics. However, based on weekly downloads and my daily conversations with professional installers, Hue and Matter are consistently the two most requested integrations. Both are widely used in their home automation projects, where seamless integration with KNX is essential.
The AI node has been discontinued, and its functionality is now available through Cerebrum-Ultimate.
The attached screenshots, taken from the KNX-Ultimate documentation, show some of the manufacturers using KNX-Ultimate in their solutions. You will probably recognise a few names! KNX-Ultimate is also listed in the FlowFuse integrations directory, providing further visibility into its capabilities and practical applications.
Looking ahead, my development strategy is to focus on the core KNX functionality, which already offers a comprehensive feature set. If Matter becomes the de facto standard for these integrations, the plan is to phase out the dedicated Hue code gradually, over a long transition period.
I hope this gives you a clearer picture of the commitment and care behind my nodes. Having worked as a CEO, head of software development, and entrepreneur across several companies, I now describe myself as a “retired” developer and content creator—although my commitment to software development remains very much alive.
You can find more about my work here:Hopefully, this gives you good reasons to continue with KNX-Ultimate, so please tell me YOU'LL STAY!!!. 🙂
