KNX node for node-red

Hi
in your case, knx-ultimate is unable to retrieve the specific error, so i cannot inspect any further and i must guess.
In the gateway config node, you need to set "debug" or at least "info" as log level, restart node-red, wait for the connection error and then send me your log.
Please also upgrade to the latest knx-ultimate version.

Kann es sein, dass node-red für jedes "KNX Easy Out" einen eigenen Tunnel in meinem MDT IP-Interface belegt?
Es sollte doch nur ein ip-Tunnel von meinem Raspberry zum IP-Interface benötigt werden, oder irr ich mich?

Sollte die Lösung weiter vorne schon stehen, dann sorry, mein Englisch reicht nur für fish and chips...

Vielleicht kann mir jemand weiter helfen...

Hallo, in diesem Thread geht es um die Node "KNX Ultimate". Teste diese mal, die läuft sehr zuverlässig.

Die Node "KNX Easy", die du hast hatte ich auch erst installiert.
Allerdings wegen mehrerer Ausfälle wieder eliminiert.

Hi, ich habe mich nun auch an die Installation von nodered und knx ultimate gemacht mit dem Ziel meine HomeKit Sensoren auf den KNX Bus zu bringen.

Ich habe allerdings schon beim Einfachen testen der Verbindung ein Problem. Ich bekomme folgende Fehlermeldung beim Schreiben auf den Bus.

Woran könnte das liegen?

that’s only a warning. As soon as the node receives a payload, it creates the persist file. Please don’t care.

Hallo zusammen,

ich versuche meine KNX-Szenen über node red (KNX-ultimate) zu erstellen.
Dazu habe ich den Baustein aus der Anleitung kopiert und die entsprechenden Befehle (Lampe 1 an / Lampe 2 dimmen ... ) in den "scene editor" eingetragen.

Das starten der Szene funktioniert auch problemlos.

Was ich nicht hinbekomme ist das Anlernen ... da müsste es doch möglich sein die Rückmeldeobjekte einzutragen!?

Ich kenne das von edomi ... dort kann ich für jede einzelne Lampe der Szene eine auszuführende GA und eine GA für das Lernen der Szene eintragen.

Wie sage ich dem Baustein "store actuators value" was er an den einzelnen Stellen der Szene speichern soll??

Direkt in der ETS habe ich mit Szenen nichts eingestellt.
Sämtliche Szenen und Logiken will ich über node red steuern.

Wäre für einen kleinen Denkanstoß sehr dankbar!

As far i can barely understand, you need to save the scene in KNX-Ultimate scene controller, right?
You can take a look here and pass to the node, the correct message input to save the scene https://github.com/Supergiovane/node...-Configuration or you can directly set in the Scene node, the GA and Datapoint to use to save the scene.

I understood I can use either a GA to save or an input message ...
if I use the input message I receive a comment under the scene controller "Saved scene".

BUT ... the configuration value doesn´t change (I think it should read an adress with the actual value and set this as new scene value?!)

i you're speaking about the values in the configuration window, they remain unchanged, yes. Developers aren't allowed to change the values in the config UI from the code behind, but there is an internal mechanism, to retain the new saved values. These new values are retained in a file.

firstly I want to thank you for your great piece of software.

I have installed nodered on a virtual server somewhere on the internet. I am then connecting from UltimateKNX into my home network.
This scenario is running more reliable, than any RPi I have tested before. It is running now for several months.

The only hicc up I get, is when my public home IP address is changing.
Luckily I have a dyndns in place. However, I may only enter an IP address as a gateway.

Would it be an option for you to add the ability to enter a domain name to be able to handle the dynamic ip address situation?

PS:
Yes, I am aware of the risks of having a connection from the open internet into my home. However, my firewall settings are quite strict, so I still feel safe. With the upcoming encryption, I feel even better.
