Gira X1 und Modbus TCP mit Logikbaustein

I have tried with radzio modbus master and the result is the same.

your screenshot states an error while connecting to the IP adress of the X1. what means, the program tries to connect to a modbus server on the X1. but there is no one.

if you have the same problem (same error), that you did the same: you tried to connect to an non existing modbus server.

Have you used a basic sofware tool to simulate the comunication. Can you tell me with one?

i have never used a simulator but only real devices.

i suggest to open another thread, where you explain your detailed setup and what you want to try to reach. your problem seems not really related to this modbus node, that is being discussed here.

I have know communication. Hexadecimal at Raw output and decimal at register output.
But how do you manage this data? At homeserver there are more advanced modules to do it. But at X1 how do you do it?

don't understand your problem. the "RAW / Error" output is just for debugging purposes. not indeded for use as part of any logic.
But the output ("Register Wert") should provide simply the value from the modbus register. What to do with that is up to you or what you want to reach.

Hi Esteban,

just checked: INT datatype uses BitConverter.ToInt32 (https://github.com/rossmann-engineer...Client.cs#L281) regarding to MSDN doc (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dot..._System_Int32_) this is already treated as signed value. so negative value should already work (with the latest version).

Los datos positivos funcionan perfectamente.

I attach you the screen shot of a free software reading the modbus negative data and the X1 module with the 0.0.12 version.
The data is 16bits and it doesn't understand negative values.

I have checked the 0.0.13 version but I have not found the 16 bits integer signed option.
With 16 bits integer doesn't works with negative values.

strange - i have the new datatype. can you try to create new project in GPA and insert new query modbus node there?

You were right. I have solved restarting the GPA software. Creating a new project the problem was the same.

Now it works perfectly!!!

der Post ist ja schon was älter.
Wo finde ich denn dieses Modbus Logik Modul in der Gira GPA.
Bei mir ist das garnicht vorhanden.

habe mir den Gesamten Verlauf mehrmals durchgelesen, aber leider keine Lösung für mein Problem herauslesen können.

Ich finde in der GPA / Logikmodul keine Modbus Grundfunktion. Damit hat der Ersteller des Beitrages ja angefangen.
