What is the first step ? should I do the autoconfig and change the IP later ?

The autoconfig started during my first login to the cam and I did not dare to interrupt it, so I changed the IP after that. (I had my computer in the same subnet as the T24).

I thought the small blue screwdriver was for that purpose, inserting it in the square hole, like a Wago The doc doesn't say a word about this topic.

This part of the installation was done by ma electrician, so I can't help with this one. But the screwdriver is useful for the OPT-IO module as well.

So far, I've done any power-on yet, a bit scared about doing a wrong manipulation, given the problems already mentionned in this lengthy post.

Easiest is to temporally change the IP address of your computer so that it is in the same subnet as the cam (you find the default address of the on the back of the cam)

The MxBus has a plug on the camera side. At the info module you can probably remove the wire by gently pulling and twisting.

You can set the IP address in the admin interface of the camera. Easiest is to temporally change the IP address of your computer so that it is in the same subnet as the cam (you find the default address of the on the back of the cam). Then point you browser to the cam IP and log in with the default name/pw. After changing the IP change the IP of your computer back.

Alternatively you can configure your DHCP-Server to provide a fixed IP depending on the MAC of the T24. But I am not sure, if the Mobotix is configured to use DHCP in the default settings.

I've to return to the brave KNXUF, as I didn't get any reply from the Mobotix forum and Mobotix Tech Sup send me to a local distributor who .....

I'm a T24 newbee, just got the system (camera, keyboard and Infomodule)
I'd like to setup the system with fixed IP addresses. The System manual, part 2, section 1.3.3 mentions this case and refers to section 4.3 which says "section currently under review" ... and points to the MX Easy manuals. I didn't find any help there.
Also, the System manual says that the initial setup should not be done via MX Easy (kind of contradiction).

Any clue about how to proceed, please ?

Should I connect the camera only and configure it before connecting the other devices ?
Also, for practical reasons, I'd like to assemble and test the system before installation. Is it possible to remove the MX wires easily, without dammage ?

Wenn die Beleuchtung der T24 auf Automatisch steht, wird Helligkeit in Abhängigkeit zum vorhandenen Licht eingestellt.

Je heller es wird, um so heller ist die Beleuchtung.

Das Keypad wird von der T24 gesteuert.
Warum man allerdings die Tastenbeleuchtung am Keypad nicht abschalten kann, erschließt sich mir noch nicht

Die LEDs sind immer an obwohl automatisch eingestellt ist und die Beleuchtung des Siedle Tastenmoduls wird nicht geschaltet. Hat jemand die Siedle Klingeltasten mit der Mobotix in Betrieb bei funktionierender Beleuchtung?

So, die Mobotix hängt jetzt endlich da wo sie soll und genau dieses Verhalten kann ich auch bestätigen, eine Lösung hab ich noch nicht gefunden. Im Moment hab ich die LEDs auch dauerhaft aus, das scheint die Kamera sich aber nur bis zum nächsten Neustart zu merken (obwohl die Konfiguration dauerhaft gespeichert wurde).

Mir ist auch noch aufgefallen, das der Diebstahlschutz bei angelegter Spannung schon noch kurzer Zeit extrem heiß wird. Bei mir war es so warm, dass die Dichtungen zwischen Modul und Rahmen teilweise geschmolzen sind... Einen entsprechenden Hinweis im Handbuch hab ich zumindest nicht gesehen.

Da stellt sich bei mir die Frage, ob man den Diebstahlschutz überhaupt aktivieren sollte. Bei einem entschlossenen Dieb nutzt er auch nichts, der Beschädigt einfach den Rahmen und im Zweifel ist er irgendwann defekt und der Schaden dadurch größer. Was meint Ihr?

Da ich die Dichtungen jetzt erst mal so wieder eingesetzt habe: Tragen sie zum IP65 Klassifikation der Module bei oder verhindern sie nur, das Wasser in den Mauerkasten läuft? Ich werde aber auf jeden Fall bei Mobotix mal nach Ersatz fragen...

Auch nicht schlecht.

Stellen selbst nix auf die Beine aber meckern schon mal über andere. Auch wenn ‚die anderen’ nicht das gelbe vom Ei sind, die machen wenigstens was.

So toll die Mobotix-Kameras auch sind, die Sache mit dem App ist mehr als peinlich. Peinlich auch, dass wohl lt. Mobotix-Forum schon mal für kurze Zeit ein App im App Store war und dann wieder rausgenommen wurde...

Ist echt ein sch... mit den App. Kann es nicht glauben.
Überlege die Mobotix zu verkaufen oder gar zurück zu geben zu denen.
Und schauen ob es was anderes gibt auf den Markt.

Nervt ganz gut, schreibe da auf jedenfall noch hin.

Das mit den LEDs würde mich mal interessieren, habe meine in der T24 komplett ausgestellt.
Da die sonst der Automatik immer an sind, glaube die gehen garnicht aus.
Oder hat jemand eine Lösung dafür?

da ich auch auf das Display warte (ich brauche es nur als Gegenspechstelle) werde ich als Übergangslösung mein ACER Iconia W500 (10 Zoll Tablett mit Windows als OS) einsetzen.

Das ganze dann mit der MxEasy Software als Gegensprechstelle.

Die ist nicht als Türsprechanlage geeignet.

Ja es ist ein stolzer Preis. Ich habe lange gesucht und kenne derzeit keine anderen Produkte die alle Anforderungen erfüllen.

Ein Telefon schraubt man sich wohl nicht an die Wand.....
